What does it mean to you to be FULL?
There's a certain feeling we associate with being full after a meal, but what if it’s not getting you the results you want? Or even worse, what if it's not really satisfying you?
WHAT IF WHAT YOU REALLY NEED IS TO FILL UP ON SOMETHING OTHER THAN FOOD? HMMM....
When I work with a client who has insatiable hunger and constant cravings, I ask them to dig a little deeper to find out what else it might be. If we've cleaned up the food + increased the water (and maybe even gone so far as to do a cleanse) and the nagging voices to keep eating won't go away, then what else could it be? Well, it's likely your SOUL that's actually hungry.
Some of my clients laugh when I bring this up, but think about it for a moment. Many things FEED us besides food. Playing with our kids, walking in the fresh air, giving gifts to others, singing songs in the shower, dancing when nobody’s looking...
Next time you feel like you’re in a constant eating slump, think about what else could FEED you?
