Strawberry on-the-go Bars

Strawberry on-the-go Bars

Serves 4-6

Prep time 5 minutes

Cook time 15 minutes

Rest time 30 minutes 


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of frozen strawberries 
  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter 
  • 1/4 chia seeds
  • 1/4 flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup peanuts (optional) 
  • 1/4 flax meal 
  • 2 scoops of Truvani protein powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Blend frozen strawberries until smooth
  3. In a medium pot on low heat, add strawberry pure and maple syrup and let cook until it becomes sticky, about 10 minutes
  4. Place pure in a mixing bowl and add all other ingredients
  5. Mix well
  6. On a parchment paper lined tray, spread out down and roll until its 1/2 an inch thick
  7. Bake in oven for 15 minutes
  8. Let cool
