Ingredients:
4 pounds of mussels
2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 spicy chili pepper (medium spice)
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 lemon, quartered
4 sprigs of parsley
Instructions:
- In a large wok pan, place olive oil, chopped garlic and chili pepper
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly to ensure that garlic doesn’t burn
- When garlic is golden, turn off the flame and add one small glass of water to stop the cooking process.
- Add mussels and cover
- When all the mussels are open, take off top and serve ( about 8 minutes)
- Garnish with lemons and parsley
