BBG Glazed Salmon Steaks with Sweet Onions

Serves 2
Prep time 5 minutes
Cook time 25 minutes

Ingredients:
Salmon:

  • 2 salmon steaks
  • 4 tablespoons of primal kitchen’s classic bbq sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Brush salmon steaks with bbq sauce
  3. Place salmon on a parchment paper lined tray, skin side down
  4. Cook in oven for 12-15 minutes until cooked through
  5. Plate with sweet onions (see below)

Ingredients:
Sweet onions:

  • 2 Vidalia onions, sliced thinly
  • 2 sprigs of sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Place onions in an hot iron skillet with olive oil and sage
  2. Cook on a medium heat, covered until caramelised. About 15 minutes. Add a bit of water if necessary to avoid from drying out or burning.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste
